Dr. Lillie Mosaddegh
Dr. Mosaddegh was born in Tehran, Iran. She immigrated to US as a teenager. Dr. Mosaddegh received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Illinois with high honors. She subsequently received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, where she ended up being first in a class of 220 students. She won top awards in every category granted by the school. Dr. Mosaddegh completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco in 1998. She subsequently proceeded to open her private practice in the city of San Francisco, and within two years she expanded her practice to three locations. She has headed this busy multi-location practice for the last 25 years. She has expertise in premium cataract cases, complex dry eye management, diabetes, glaucoma, medical retina, autoimmune related ophthalmic care, etc. Dr. Mosaddegh was a resident under Dr. Allen Scott who introduced Botox to the medical community. That experience let itself to the start of her involvement in the aesthetic field where she has expanded her experience with a wealth of aesthetic treatments and procedures in the last two and a half decades.
Dr. Mosaddegh was one of the original partners at the Eye Surgery Center of San Francisco where she served as an executive board member from the inception of the center in 2007. She also has served on various advisory boards related to her medical expertise, as well as serving on the advisory board of a major technology company. She has been involved in pharmaceutical research on dry eye treatments. Dr. Mosaddegh has been involved in clinical research on performance of multiple premium IOLs. She is a patent holder on multiple inventions, including a dry eye device.
Dr. Mosaddegh enjoys reading and writing poetry, photography, fashion design, cooking, and traveling. She loves nature and meditation.
